Senior SaaS Growth Marketing Manager – Shopify Apps

The Role
We’re looking for someone who has already grown a SaaS product or Shopify app and knows what it takes to attract, convert, and retain customers.
This is not an entry-level marketing role. We need someone who can take ownership of growth strategy, execute campaigns, analyze results, and make decisions based on data.
Key Responsibilities
1. SaaS Growth & Customer Acquisition
- Develop and execute strategies to increase app installs, trials, paid conversions, and MRR.
- Identify new acquisition channels and growth opportunities.
- Improve the customer acquisition funnel, from first visit to paid subscription.
- Plan and execute growth experiments with measurable outcomes.
2. Shopify App Store Growth
- Improve Shopify App Store listing visibility, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
- Manage and optimize Shopify App Store Ads.
- Understand Shopify merchant acquisition, competitor positioning, and app discovery.
- Develop strategies to improve organic installs and reduce customer acquisition costs.
3. Product Marketing & Positioning
- Create go-to-market strategies for new features and product launches.
- Improve product messaging, positioning, and differentiation.
- Work closely with the product team to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop campaigns highlighting Wiser’s value to Shopify merchants.
4. SEO, Content & Demand Generation
- Build SEO and content strategies targeting Shopify merchants.
- Drive qualified traffic through organic search, AI search, partnerships, and other channels.
- Plan email marketing, lifecycle campaigns, and lead-nurturing strategies.
- Work with content and design teams to execute marketing campaigns.
5. Conversion, Retention & Revenue Growth
- Optimize the website, App Store listing, onboarding, and activation funnel.
- Improve trial-to-paid conversion and customer retention.
- Identify upselling and expansion opportunities.
- Track key metrics such as CAC, LTV, MRR, churn, activation, and conversion rates.
6. Partnerships & Ecosystem Marketing
- Build co-marketing opportunities with Shopify agencies, app partners, and technology providers.
- Plan webinars, joint campaigns, and other ecosystem marketing activities.
- Explore new growth opportunities within the Shopify ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS growth marketing, preferably in Shopify apps or eCommerce SaaS.
- Proven experience growing SaaS products through organic and paid acquisition.
- Strong understanding of subscription business models, MRR, CAC, LTV, and churn.
- Hands-on experience with performance marketing, SEO, conversion optimization, and lifecycle marketing.
- Ability to plan and execute marketing strategies independently.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to improve growth performance.
- Experience working closely with product, sales, and customer success teams.
- Strong understanding of global SaaS markets, particularly the US, UK, Europe, and Australia.
Strongly Preferred
- Previous experience working at a successful Shopify app company.
- Experience managing Shopify App Store Ads and app listing optimization.
- Experience scaling a SaaS product from early traction to meaningful recurring revenue.
- Understanding of product-led growth (PLG), onboarding, activation, and retention.
- Experience marketing SaaS products to SMB and enterprise customers.

In this role, you’ll be expected to:
- Grow qualified app installs and customer acquisition.
- Improve install-to-paid conversion rates.
- Increase organic and paid acquisition efficiency.
- Build repeatable and scalable marketing channels.
- Contribute directly to Wiser’s MRR and ARR growth.
